Austin Kendo Doshikai and the Kendo Association at the University of Texas host the 21st Longhorn Invitational Team Kendo Taikai and 1st Annual ATX Youth Kendo Individual Championship on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
Teams are allowed one 6-dan or 7-dan kenshi per team. Team members must be 18 years of age or older on the date of the taikai. Eligible youth are boys and girls ages 12 to 17.

SWKIF Shinsa: Kendo Rank Examination for up to 4-dan, Sunday, September 27, from 9am to 1:30pm, including godo keiko. Gymnasium opens at 9:00am. All participants must register by 9:30am. Shinsa will start promptly at 10:00am
